How To Use A Glass Foot File & Callus Remover

'Step' Into Summer Feeling Smooth

With the summer season in full swing, sandals, flip-flops, and barefoot beach walks are calling. But are your feet ready? After months of being hidden beneath layers of socks and boots, dry skin and calluses can make even the comfiest pair of sandals feel uncomfortable. Enter Bona Fide Beauty's double-sided Czech glass foot file & callus remover, your secret weapon for smooth, summer-ready hands & feet. This guide will show you how to use our glass foot file & callus remover to achieve soft & healthy skin. By following these simple yet effective steps, you'll confidently slip into your favorite summer shoes and fully enjoy your summer activities!

Why Choose a Bona Fide Beauty Czech Glass Foot File & Callus Remover?

Glass foot files and callus removers, especially those made from high-quality materials like Czech glass, bring a touch of elegance to hand & foot care while offering unmatched effectiveness. Unlike coarse metal rasps or disposable pumice stones, glass foot files:
  • Are gentle on your skin and prevent over-filing, reducing irritation.
  • Seal the surface of your skin as they work, creating a smoother and healthier finish.
  • Offer durability and sustainability, lasting much longer than traditional tools.
The double-sided design features a coarser side for tackling tougher calluses and a finer side for polishing, ensuring salon-quality results at home. Now, let us show you how you can use your Bona Fide Beauty's double-sided Czech glass foot file & callus remover for that luxurious, summer-worthy manicure and pedicure. In our example, we used it on hand calluses.
Please note: we recommend using separate files for your feet and hands to ensure optimal hygiene!

Step 1: Prepare Your Skin

Before we start using the glass foot file and callus remover, we want to prepare our calluses and dry skin for buffing and polishing. We recommend soaking your feet or hands in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes. If you're planning on using this in the shower, you can skip this step!

Step 2: Buff Off Dead Skin With Rougher Side

Now, it's time to say good-bye to those calluses and dry skin! Use the side of the foot file with the rougher (medium) grit and gently buff the area in circular motions. You can tell which side of the file is rougher by looking at how bumpy the grit is and by feeling it with your hands.

Step 3: Polish New Skin With Smoother Side

Now, say hello to fresh, baby smooth skin! After rinsing off the buffed dead skin, use the side of the foot file with the smoother (fine) grit and gently polish using the same circular motions. Do this until the calluses or dry area feels smooth. You can tell which side of the file is smoother by looking at how smooth the grit is and by feeling it with your hands.

Step 4: Rinse & Lotion Up

Finally, rinse off all the dead skin & moisturize using your favorite lotion! This will help lock in moisture and keep your skin feeling smoother for longer.
