The file is good - nice size, consistent fine grit, does an effective, quality filing job. I've only had the set a few days, so I don't know about durability or longevity. I have found that brushing the file dry with a fine fingernail brush will prevent residue build up. I will probably wash every 5 or 6 uses. It makes fast work of fingernail maintenance. I was surprised that the teardrop piece only has grit in a groove along the concave curved side, so I'm still exploring ways to use that tool.

I have been looking for files like this for years! I was so excited to run across these files on Amazon. They work just how they are supposed to, and the colors are amazing! I got the Sunset (yellow/pink) for me and the Sea Spritz (aqua/purple) for my mom, I was so excited to find that the Sunset is florescent under black light.
I will be ordering more files as gifts for family, and the foot files for myself.
